We have noticed an explosion of poppy paintings uploaded on the website recently so we decided to choose it as our ‘Category of the Week’. Besides their association with Remembrance Day, poppies are beautiful summer flowers that we can admire in the fields, in our gardens and in various artworks.
Stella Dunkley in her artwork titled Fields of Poppies offers viewers an original impressionistic landscape painting, featuring a single tree in a field of beautiful poppies. The painting is created in acrylic on canvas in shades of red, green, blue and yellow.
