Elisa Trueman

“The most wonderful thing is hearing how your art has brought the joy of a favourite place and the memories of it back to someone’s life; to walk past it hung on the wall and relive that happiness each day.”

You cannot look at one of Elisa Trueman’s art pieces and not smile. Joy seems to emanate from every brush stroke. Although the desire to be an artist was what Elisa Trueman initially wanted as a child, she was compelled to join the forces for a while. However, the dream of becoming an artist never went away and now you can find Elisa whiling away the hours with a brush in her hand. Her pieces have been enjoyed in homes throughout the UK and abroad and whether she is painting a snow covered seascape or a field of flowers, Elisa Trueman puts her heart into everything she paints.

Elisa Trueman paints in a style that is uniquely vintage. They are playful and fun, yet sophisticated and no doubt painted by a master of her craft. Her scenes take the viewer to another world with limitless possibilities and allow you to dream a little longer. We have yet to see all this impressive artist has to offer and bet on seeing her pieces in more homes and galleries across the globe.

Melanie Graham

“Being an Artist gives an absolute freedom to express my emotions. Everything I can’t put into words, I paint. Much easier.”

Classically trained artist Melanie Graham paints in a way that truly inspires the viewer.  After studying at Nottingham Uni and then Cardiff Uni, Mel found her paintbrushes in her late thirties. Depression led her to trying out something calming. In Painting, she found creativity to be a great emotional release, and in time her Art and garden studio became her sanctuary.  Melanie paints in a unique manner that is more inspirational than strictly thought out. Her pieces are inspired by the raw power of the sea and all that it brings. Although she does maintain some serene, calm pieces, many of her seascapes present a stirred ocean where you do not really know what might happen.

The seas are ever changing and that is perfectly represented in Melanie Graham’s pieces. Her artwork is full of various textures expertly managed by both a pallet knife and brush. If you have ever wanted to find inspiration for emotions in art, Mrs. Graham is the ideal subject. Feeling and emotion floods from each brush stroke.

Lita Narayan

“I love creating art, especially when I manage to capture the atmosphere and feeling of a place rather than just its visual representation”

Artists are often inspired by very specific things and Lita Narayan is no different. Her inspiration comes from both architectural and natural elements. The fascination with architecture is evident in most of her cityscape pieces. She paints in an impressionistic style, offering the viewer the chance to create their own reality. Not only does Lita Narayan expertly handle a paint brush, but her pallet knife work is inspiring as well. Textural elements added to her pieces give each one a level of depth and body that is truly remarkable.

Lita attended art college but is virtually self-taught in her painting style. We are treated with the pleasure of knowing this artist and the chance to envelop ourselves with the emotion and light she portrays in each painting. Lita Narayan is an artist that is meant for great things, and we cannot wait to see what the future holds for her inspired pieces.

Olga Koval

“I’m a very creative person and my paintings allow me to explore my passion.”

Some artists choose one genre to paint from. However, Olga Koval does not. Her paintings range drastically from still light, to landscapes, to animals, and even portraits. The ability to move from one genre to another is not something all artists are able to master, but Olga has found a way. Each of her incredible art pieces is a story all its own with its very own emotions and depth.

Olga Koval has had the pleasure of presenting her pieces in private and public galleries throughout the world including Europe, Canada, America, and Australia. Artists find their passions at different times in their lives, but for Olga, that passion was sparked in her teens. Since then, she has had a deep adoration for the canvas and all it can become in her hands. Her use with a brush and a pallet knife bring subjects to life in a stunning way.

Kirsten Wright

“Have courage and follow through”

A true artist never stops and is always pursuing the next idea for a new piece. Kirsten Wright is the perfect example of a true artist. She is from South Africa, originally, but has found a home in Essex. The countryside has been an inspiration to Kirsten throughout the years and is always driving her to make each piece better than the last. A deep love for the art she produces can be seen and even felt within each brush stroke.

Expressionism can be a difficult genre for an artist, but Kirsten Wright has mastered it beautifully. Whether she is painting a floral arrangement, still life, or one of the many creatures of the earth, her pieces are designed to captivate the audience. When painting scenes, Kirsten looks to the heavens for inspiration as she often paints a troubled sky teaming with emotion and wonderment of what is going to happen next.

Arie Coetzee

“I am forever trying to find shades of light in the shadows of life. Hoping that one day soon we’ll all comprehend the gift of joy in the art we create. Being able to understand solitude is an important key to creativity; allowing for quiet moments of self-realisation and surrender to the art we make.”

South Africa is a nation full of beauty in both its people and its illustrious landscape. Artist Coetzee works to portray the true nature of his native land in all his amazing pieces. From the time Arie Coetzee could hold a brush, art was a part of his life. His family was always supportive of his choices to invest in art as a career and it has proven fruitful. Arie Coetzee allows us a glimpse into the unique culture of South Africa and we give him great thanks for that.

Arie Coetzee paints from his soul with pieces that offer a bit of multiple genres across the spectrum of the art world. From abstract, to geometric pieces, all the way to visions of the arid landscape of South Africa, Arie Coetzee can do it all. Each piece is perfectly imagined from this gifted artist’s mind and we can take pleasure in the fact that Arie Coetzee will continue to paint from his beloved homeland.

James Zhao

“I think a strong desire or aspiration is the best teacher to help you to fulfill your achievement and make your dream come true.”

James Zhao did not begin his professional career as an artist. Actually, art was the farthest thing from his chosen career path. James was born and raised in China. He has loved drawing and horses  since he was very young. But he did not have the opportunity to learn art at that time. He studied electrical engineering in college and became an electrical engineer. He went to Australia to study and finish his master degree in telecom before immigrating to Canada in 1998. It was at this point when his IT career ended and life as a full time artist began.

Artists often discover their passion later in life like James Zhao, but it is their personal passions from a young age that often drive their art choices. For James Zhao, the natural choice is horses. He always loved horses and painted them in the most inspiring and masterful way. Although his engineering days may be behind him, the level of detail in each piece he produces is evidence of his perfectionism no doubt brought in from his early education. Zhao paints his horses in a realistic fashion in oil on canvas.
