I have decided to carry on releasing photos of my travels. I want to share the amazing experience that I feel has got me where I am today. Having travelled to some amazing countries and met some inspiring people I use my experiences and pour them into my paintings. This picture was taken on one the Fijian Islands, all the locals gathered round to perform, once they had finished we all joined in.

I would have to say the Fijian people are one the most friendliest and humble people I have ever met. We went to several islands (myself and 5 other friends) on one island we took a stroll down the beach and had tea and biscuits in the garden of one of the locals, as they had a little sign outside ‘Tea at 3pm’. After we drank our tea, one the ladies, who had been cutting her little boys hair got up and disappeared into the small house, she returned with a small box, she then placed a piece of cloth over it to make a little table and set out some shell jewellery she had made. We were then able to browse the jewellery and make our offerings. It was such a lovely day, and something so simple like tea and looking at a few simple pieces of jewellery was really quite special.
