Spring by Tracy-Ann Marrison
Spring by Tracy-Ann Marrison

Spring is a great season to inspire artists as it displays an array of colours and flowers. Trees in bloom, dandelions and buttercups, colourful butterflies, birds’ trills, blue skies, carpets of bluebells in the forests and fresh green colours all around – these are and have always been some never ending sources of inspiration for artists of all times.

Simon Faireless’ spring blossoms capture delicately the trees in bloom against the blue sky in various spring colours like yellow, white and pink. He offers happy and vibrant paintings in his unique abstract style.

Tracey Rowan’s paintings of spring are highly textured and vibrant in a contemporary style and feature colourful flowers. The titles are very suggestive: April, Le Printemps or Fleur, to name just a few.

Landscape painters are also inspired by the spring and Maureen Greenwoods spring landscapes are idyllic and lyrical.

Lesley Blackburns spring blossoms, bluebells and spring meadows are created in oils in an impressionistic style in vibrant colours and full of textures while Tracy-Ann Marrison’s spring artworks are subtle and delicate, created in acrylic and mixed media in an abstract contemporary style.

A spring artwork is optimistic, uplifting and vibrant, whichever style it’s painted in. We hope you enjoy our selection.
