2. A Poetic Eye: A Life in Art from Cranborne Chase to Crete – the exhibition is at The Salisbury Museum in Salisbury from 30 January to 7 May. It explores the creative life of the nomadic artist, who had travelled to Tunisia, Kenya, France and Greece.

3. The Artist and the Sea – the exhibition is at City Art Centre in Edinburgh until 8 May 2016. The exhibition showcases drawings, paintings, sculptures, prints and photography by various artists, such as John Bellany, William McTaggart, Joan Eardley and Elizabeth Ogilvie, who are inspired by the sea.

4. Alexander Calder: Performing Sculpture at Tate Modern – the exhibition is on until 3 April 2016 and it showcases work by Alexander Calder, the American sculptor and pioneer of kinetic sculpture.

5. ‘Klee/Aguéli’ at Modern Musset, Stockholm – the exhibition showcases works of Swiss painter Paul Klee and Swedish painter Ivan Aguéli in an imagined meeting of the two artists.
