Evening Tide II by Oleg Riabchuk

Where did the inspiration come from for this piece?

Now is a time when man, as never before, is distant from nature. I try to get as close to nature as possible. I like to feel and enjoy this perfect world and I enjoy showing it to other people. Everything is in constant motion, even positive emotions, feelings and mood. What I want is to capture it and share it.

What is the creative process when creating your paintings?

You can compose and invent your own world, look at nature, like a living organism that also moves, grows, feeds, bathes in the sun. I was always attracted to strong, saturated colors, I like it when the picture “sings”. And listening to “emotional music” is often the starting point for many of my works.

How long would this work have taken you?

The time spent working on a work can be from three to five days, up to several weeks.

For me, it’s important, after you think that the work on the picture is finished, put it away and forget about it for a while. Time will pass, and when you take it again, you can see what else you need to do to make the music sound even better.
